I saw the corn in a community garden in Portland. It was a lonely line of single stalks at the end of the season. The deer is cautious, looking back. The vulnerability of the deer and the corn are with the striding boy. He is still growing, moving into his future.
Note all the processes used in making this etching are carefully developed to be non toxic to humans and the environment. B.I.G. hardground, Soy wax soft ground. Ferric Chloride etchant. Linseed oil-based inks. Clean up with baby oil.
